Abstract: Supply chain simulation is a fundamental approach for supply chain prediction, management, evaluation, and improvement. In order to simulate member behavior, organizational strategy, and management strategy of the supply chain, an agent-based modeling and simulation approach on multi-stage supply chain operation was proposed in this paper. First, the model structure of multi-stage supply chain operation was introduced. Then, the individual agent behavior model was emphatically studied, and hierarchical colored Petri-nets were used to describe the agent behavior process and cooperative behavior process. Finally, the model was validated using a series of simulation which focused on the agent inventory strategy.
Abstract: This paper describes work that has been done on an innovative use of a steel chain as a cable in chain ropeway system developed for use in the mountain orchards of china. This work focuses on the use of Msc Adams in describing the quasi static behavior of the configuration of the chain ropeway. A model was built in solid works and then transferred to Msc Adams which was used to predict the profile of the chain and the tension for various loads. From this study it has been shown that Msc Adams can be a valuable tool in solving problems related to the quasi static and equilibrium state of the chain rope way system and getting an in depth behavior of its dynamics. Abstract: The principle of modified gear was applied to silent chain transmission, and tooth profile equation of the involute sprocket was derived, then method of processing gear using imaginary rack cutter solved modification coefficient of involute sprocket. When Center distance of silent chain drive changed smaller, processing method of sprocket modification coefficient and range of modification coefficient values were analysed.
The method by changing the modification coefficient of involute sprocket solves the problem that the chain links are increased or decreased in the actual application to be unable to meet the requirements of specific center distance, thus improve transmission performance of silent chain.
