For the last few weeks it seems our electricity is going up far too quick and I do not know what the reason is. It seems that at night when everything is off that the electricity is being used by something or other. I just spoke to another couple which live in Milnerton area and they have the same problem. I know we not getting the same amount of units we used to get before the increase BUT it does seem when nothing is on that the units are being used much quicker. Has anyone else picked this up, especially the units disappearing during the evening? Hi, I just moved into a house with a prepaid meter installed and am looking about information on how to get it replaced with the usual credit meter due to the additional expense and awkwardness. However I can't find any information on what is involved or any costs related to this.

We would have to do so anyway if you are registering an electricity account, as that meter would be attached to a previous occupier's account.
