Just did the MyGig software update for my radio. Saw some other threads focused on UConnect. Obviously this is a separate update, thought I'd post findings here.
To update: • Downloaded v2.700 software here:. The file is ~2.2 GB, so expect 20+ minutes for download. • Opened the.iso file (Windows 10) by clicking on it. You may need to use WinZip or 7-Zip if your version of Windows won't open.iso files. • Inserted a 14 GB USB drive, and in another window formatted as a single partition and FAT.

Took to Jeep & inserted USB inside armrest USB port while Jeep was off. • Started Jeep (engine running), nothing happens on radio for 2-4 minutes, then popup appears asking to confirm if I want to update software to v2.700.
Watch as files start to copy to Jeep. I drove around and got coffee, left Jeep running at Dunkin Doughnuts and when came back, had another popup asking if I wanted to update from v2.7 to v2.7, I clicked 'No' as obviously the update finished, then read the USB stick and just prompted me again like I was starting over. Update complete! Pull out USB drive, enjoy! Note this is the radio software update. Everything looks same to me, same blue background.
Don't yet know of any new features. Others tell me the radio feels faster. You might have an update for Gracenotes database, which is the software that shows Album art when you're playing music. To see the version you have, on the radio go to Menu >> Setup >> System Info or hit the SPEAK button and say 'software update' - you'll get taken to one screen with all your software versions. The latest Gracenotes for the 730N RHR is version 6168.
You can download Gracenote updates for free, here (scroll to bottom for 'SOX Downloads'): Some folks here (see other threads recently) have found an update to the Hands Free Module ('HFM') issued. As I don't have the 'hands free' buttons on the left side of my steering wheel, I didn't have any update for UConnect. Might try entering your VIN to check for that.
