Sounds like either short code blocking enabled or a something messed up with the family allowances. You can test short codes easy, text HELP to 727272 and if you get a reply from Redbox then short codes are working.

For family allowances you need to login to your my T mobile from a browser and go to Profile>Family Controls>Family Allowances. You may need to designate a parent line. Spacemen 3 losing touch with your mind rar : free programs. Make sure there are no sms restrictions on your line. If you get an error message when loading then then there is probably a bug with your FA and it may need to either be removed and re-added or just disabled on your account. You will need to call Care to get this done.

So it's either one of three things: 1) short codes are blocked on the T-Mo billing side. This is the easiest thing in the world to fix and I highly doubt that's it. 2) it could be the netflix/family allowances issue. If you want it fixed, good luck. The proper way to fix this is to remove FA and then resend the line to the switch, which will fix it but it'll nuke your voicemails and you won't be getting free netflix anymore. This is not in the T-Mobile troubleshooting steps and you'll actually have to get someone who's familiar with the systems in order for this to work. If they don't know how to resend to switch, it'll kick in eventually though.

3) It's actually a setting on the phone. Assuming you have an android on 7.0, settings > apps > menu button > configure apps (on LGs) > special access > premium SMS > tap on messaging > change to always allow.

Paranorman1 The Unable to send message - Message Blocking is Active error from Tmobile is resolved. The answer to this question is simple. You receive this error due to your Tmoblie plan. The family plan called 'Simple Choice No Credit' plan does not allow you the feature Tmobile calls 'Short Code'.

This means if you use a short code on your text messaging Tmobile wiil NOT allow this feature. For example, to order movies through your TV provider you text 223322 and text back and forth to order your movie Tmobile will NOT allow this type of text called 'short code'. Your Tmoblie plan has this type of text messaging blocked. There is absolutely NO WAY to stay on this type of family plan and use 'short Codes'. Tmobile is blocking you. Not your phone, not the place you are messaging.
