Hi, My machine is Windows 801 64 bit. I recently had an auto update on Java and since the update RAIDer has stopped working and gives the following error message No JVM could be found on your machine Please define EXE4J_JAVA_Home to point to an installed 32-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from I have downloaded a JRE, I have completely cleaned out all Java installs and reinstalled a JRE and all the components and still I get the error message. I have tried uninstalling RAIDer but that fails with the same error message.
Can someone assist, please, in overcoming this issue? I uninstalled Java again and also ran CCleaner.
I looked in System 32 (and in the C drive) for any mention of Java but all the instances that I could see were in program folders for specific applications and I thought it best to leave those in place, I again downloaded Java from and installed it - Looking in add remove programs I noted that it just mentions java, whereas before it specifically mentioned that the install was 64 bit (checking the Program Files folders and Java can only be found in the folder Program Files (x86)). RAIDer now works fine.
Thanks a lot for your help and quick replies.
