Hi all First post from a newbie here, so please be gentle with me! I've just bought an IPAQ 3870 from ebay, including both the original Destinator 3 software, including license key, & a CD of the original installation's back-up. The seller wrote the activation key on the CD, but when it comes to activation, it says that the key is invalid. I can see the example activation key on the PPC & it's a lot longer than what's written on the CD (which is 9 characters, alphanumeric). The seller has tried to log on to the Destinator website but it won't let him in.
And judging from what I've read on here a reply to his email will be a long time coming! So can anyone tell me how long the activation key should be please? Any other advice would be very gratefully received. I have the license key, but the problem that I have is I can't get into the Destinator website as the software is already assigned to another member (the previous owner). The website won't let him in, so at the moment I'm stuck with the 9 character one that he wrote on the backup CD.
